Carrie L. Dodrill, Ph.D.

Dr. Dodrill is a licensed Psychologist in Houston, Texas. She completed her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston in 2003.  Her clinical internship year at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001-2002 focused on inpatient treatment of Serious Mental Illness and outpatient Cognitive-Behavioral treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.  She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Houston Health Sciences Center in the Department of Family Medicine from 2004-2006.  The Fellowship focused on manualized, evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders and health behavior problems. Dr. Dodrill continued this work as a Research Associate Professor until 2009.  In April, 2009, she became a staff Psychologist at the Michael E. Debakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston.  There she worked in various programs including Behavioral Health/Primary Care Mental Health Integration, General Mental Health, as an Implementation Research Coordinator for the Substance Use Disorders Quality Enhancement Research Initiative, and in Compensation and Pension.  She served a broad variety of patients with a wide array of problems and treatment needs.  She opened a private practice in 2018.
